Adventure #2 this week: Well... I suppose it's nothing new to you if I told you that Natalie was sick... AGAIN! Since day 1, she's had cold, after cold... she's suffered through eczema, which seems to be due to a milk allergy. And this rotten asthma. Her colds are always worse then everyone else in the family... her breathing becomes quick and laboured. We take her in to doc after doc. She's had bronchitis, pneumonia etc etc etc! It's quite frustrating as there really isn't anything you can do. We're on inhalors etc. So this week... yet again, another episode. She just couldn't seem to stop coughing. In to the doc we go. Chest infection, low oxygen levels. She still wasn't better last night so we took her to emerg. I should've gone to the children's hospital but opted for the one closer to home. Anyways... 6 hours later... 2 am we came home. Oxygen levels not improved and the doctor not liking how she was breathing, but... after 2 failed attempts at a liquid steroid, she kept the 3rd dose down. 3 doses of ventolin and they thought she could come home. Was nice to hit our own bed! Now we've just both woken up from a good 3 hour nap. She's coughing away, so time to go drug her up! :-) Oh children... She's not too impressed with doctors... had some good screaming fits! Oh my!
