The camera has finally made it upstairs, so here are some pictures from the past few weeks.
Our hearts were stirred once again at Uncle Keith's funeral this week-end. It's always so beautiful to see the work of God beginning in a life, continuing in a life and most precious when we see it complete in a life. Like we heard at the service, we don't want to pray that God would do something FOR us but TO us. It takes courage to pray that prayer, but how fruitful our lives will be if we do.
We had a singsong on Friday night, and it was special to sing the hymn that he wrote just before he died. We had about 40 people here, and it's always so precious to come together from different walks of life and share sweet fellowship.
Then we were up bright and early Saturday morning to drive to Lashburn, SK for the funeral. So glad we made the effort, and a highlight was a night at Carpenter's place. A pretty sweet family that we're pretty lucky to know and love!
Here, Mia made one of her birthday presents... these fluffly like pipe cleaners that you turn into animals. This guy followed her around and has a special little place to sit when not being played with!
It's always fun to watch the kids play together in harmony!
Like her brother, Nat can apparently fall asleep anywhere, anyhow!
A visit to the Science Center one Friday afternoon... IMAX, and playzone = 4 hours and one exhausted mother!
Wyatt is always finding hockey gear and putting it on. Here's Glen's old equipment... Wyatt has a shrine made up in his room with skates and gear... always ready to play!
Mia thought she'd make SUPPER one night... cheese, mayo and lettuce sandwiches! Hmmm.. :-) She made a mess anyways! Then, the girls helped to make brownies for our sing song we had on Friday night.
