My thoughts are with Darren and Rebecca and their family as they bury their 3 month old Logan. My thoughts turn to Souheil and Josie who buried their still birth little boy, Ehlio, this past summer.
What tragedy. Merlin often speaks at funerals of our young people that while it seems to be a tragedy, that it doesn't have to be. If we take a gift from their lives, from the experience, than it's not a tragedy. These 2 little boys were so lucky to have such loving and caring parents. And now, these boys are the luckiest to be in eternity with a God who loves us more than we can comprehend.
I just feel so guilty. A life without these hard experiences. Then I think that God only allows experiences that we in His strength can handle. So what an inspiration D and R have been to me in their closeness to God that has allowed God to give them this experience knowing that they will in His strength be stronger more compassionate people. It's never in vain to serve our God and I'm just so thankful today. So this week I've learned to hug my kids a little closer, to love a littler deeper and to bend my knees and heart a little lower.
