We loved having Shelley and Coleen with us for Wed night supper, mtg, the night, and lunch on Thursday. Special ladies, fulfilling a special place on their special mtg rounds! This is the most normal pic I got!!!
Shelley remembered when 3 other girls and I were over in Europe... we were together at Vaasa convention in Finland... way back in 1997!! ufdah!
And the kids are counting the days until I go back to work. It must be pretty boring at home... they are anxious to get back to their babysitter! We'll see how long that lasts!! I'm dreading the EARLY mornings, having to have 3 kids dressed, fed and out the door... I guess Mia is the only one that needs to be presentable for school... however.... :-)
Mia got her first report card! Seriously... the requirements for Kindergarten are sort of pathetic. Isn't it wonderful that Mia can count orally 1-10 in English and French... She can use scissors and a pencil properly too! WOW! In the section that says what they need to work on... Teacher writes, "Mia is excelling in all areas of the ECS program at this time." Ya think?! ha!
Mia is incredibly good at math. She blew me away the other day. She wrote on a piece of paper (I watched and didn't say a word...) the following equations... 6+3+9 = 18. Then not a min later she says, 5+5+5+3 = 18 too!!! and she wrote 10+5+3 = 18... Mom... they ALL equal 18! ugh... she'll be past me in Grade 1!
