It's May?????

Well... let me tell you about our day! A restless sleep preluded today as I listened to the wind that blew and blew and blew. WHEW! Woke up to S-N-O-W! Yes, SNOW! Well, the weather man was predicting approximately 1cm of the white stuff... I think he was a little off as this band of cloud has dumped on us over 13cm at our house! Thankfully we haven't lost power like Steve and Jen did. I thought it would be a good day to scrapbook. I did get a few pages put together minus the journalling to finish off our Aussie 2007 trip! Wyatt had quite the morning... let's see... he drew on his face with permanent sharpie marker... thankfully I suppose, it's yellow so let's hope it fades quickly... or else he'll just look jaundiced! Then he thought he was hungry so helped himself to some icecream and broke his bowl... my oh my! I have 1 bowl left out of 8 of these now!!! Hmm... i guess those were the main events! The kids were excited to see the snow and bundled up and headed out... this snow is perfect snowman material... anyways... because it's wet and heavy, it wasn't long and they were soaked! They didn't last too long outdoors. Wyatt ventured out a few times to check out how deep it was. It continues to snow and blow...

Oh... ya, did I mention that since I refuse to venture out on these trecherous roads I am officially out of diapers, and milk. Hmm... Sorry Natalie... she'll have to swim in the size 5 diapers that I have left over rather than her regular size 2's! And I guess it's water to drink. Which is fine, but also meant that rather than a nice big bowl of cereal for breakfast we just HAD to make banana waffles!
Natalie had her 4 month immunizations yesterday (yes, she's 5 months now!) and weighed in at 13 pounds 10 ounces. Mia had her 5 year immunizations too and didn't even cry! What a brave girl! She said OUCH several times!!! She weighed in at 40.6 pounds. Both kids are hovering at the 50% marks for their ages. Natalie is a little under the 50th percentile for her weight.

I had to go outside and rescue a few tulips to bring in! They opened up rather quickly.. the poor things! And Glen has many a seed started for the garden... so we're harbouring these plants inside! Also have another shelf with 3 trays started!!! It's fun for the kids to see. They enjoyed planting and it'll be exciting to see their lil plants start to sprout.

Some days just go that way, don't they? Not sure if we're going to get to Summer here either...they're calling for rain snow mix this weekend. Oh well...makes us slow down a bit and enjoy snuggles with the little ones!
