Week-end away...

Ahhh.... which means.. that the dear, special hubby's GET to stay at home from work to play with their kids! :0) Like I told Glen when I got home, "When you get away from 'it all', you realize again how much 'it all' means to you! I must admit that I was a much better communicator this time with Glen so he did well with all 3 kids. The kids were kept busy... I mean, how much better can it get... dad takes you to the mall, takes you on the rides at West Ed... takes you for a picnic in the park... you get invited out for supper... great weather meant lots of time outside... kids had a good time! So did dad, I think!!! Mom had a great time! And a happy mom means a happy family, right?!!! I scrapbooked 49 pages and when I ran out of photo's on Friday afternoon, made 21 cards. So productive. Char's aunt brought out her new Cricut machine... so I had fun trying out things with that! Definitely a must purchase... :o) My pages aren't anything special and my goal is to buy more 'embellishments' to fancy them up. Oh well... they go quickly and at least they look better than just hanging out in a regular photo album. I have Natalie's album all caught up now!

Mia is riding her bike without training wheels now so she is qutie excited!!! She's had a few stacks and falls... including running into a parking sign which has resulted in a large bruise on the side of her face!
This perfect weather is well... perfect! Enjoyed a Sunday picnic lunch in the park with friends... lovely! A great week-end. How was yours?
