Let's see... today was busy! Glen had a training course downtown, so I packed up 3 kids to get to Mia's violin lesson. Realized I was out of gas, so that slowed us down for a few min. Mia did really well today. She realized on her own this week that Bah Bah Black Sheep is to the same tune as Twinkle... so we play that 100 times a day, on top of twinkle in various rhythms and our working song right now is Lightly Row... just a few notes to learn this week and it's done! With suzuki though, you play everything for the rest of your life, so we're just glad to have a few more pieces rather than twinkle added to the repetoire! I'm anxious to see how Wyatt takes off on the viola in the fall... well... his cardboard box anyways, until xmas time!
So after violin, we ran to the store to buy Miss Hayley her 6th bday present... a run through Timmy's... OH NO... somehow, my brain clicked that Mia needed a helmet in order to go to Hayley's party today... so back home to fetch that, and then finally out to Hayley's to drop Mia off. Hayley and her friends were going horse back riding! So it'll be fun to see those pictures, and this city slicker is glad that she didn't have to tag along!! :-)
Wyatt, Natalie and I came home... got supper ready for tomorrow night... there are no boys Wyatt's age around here... a few I suppose... so we're having a couple over for supper that has boys!!! You know it's bad when today in the car, Wyatt asked if he could have a boy BARBIE for his birthday!!!!! Pooooooooor kid!
Natalie is enjoying her introduction to rice cereal! Gobbles it right up and she is now sleeping 7 hours at night... BLISS!
