Aussie update 3

Yesterday Glen, Ross and Wyatt headed to the Ashford caves and Lemontree Park.    Gorgeous views and the perfect exploring day for Wyatt.   A trip down memory lane for Glen.

Nettis, Mia and I hung out with games around the house and then met JoAnne and another one of the friends, Priscilla for lunch at the cafe up the top of the hill by the Standing Stones... a celtic cafe... well... that's Glen Innes in a nutshell!   It was a delicious meal. We laughed at Mia... our potato lover... she had mashed potatoes and a hashbrown for lunch!!   Those pics are on my phone so will just include pics of the boys trip here.

Starting to miss home but enjoying our days here.  We are soon off to Ebor Falls for lunch with an old mate of Glen's.   The day ended for all of us with a yummy Chinese dinner down the street from the Eastwoods.  Was a good walk there and back.  Natalie yelled, "A squirrel!"  However... it was actually a possum scrambling up the telephone pole and we followed it along the wires.   It gets dark early here so couldn't get any good pictures of it... but it really was a possum!!   Cool to watch it nimbly run across the wires!

Uncle Dave's place is where the boys would often go kangaroo hunting.   Remember a meal and hunting there on my first trip to AU.

I have looked at these great photos long ago and didn't get to comment. Jess, you did a great job of capturing your Aussie holiday. My google account doesn't seem to work anymore so will just comment as anonymous. Luv Mum
