We were met by the welcoming committee of Darrell and Donna and their 4 kids along with Mum and Dad C at the Brisbane airport on July 9th. Was great to see family straight away. We headed then for our unit on the coast not far from Brisbane at Currumbin and enjoyed Thursday-Saturday there. The weather was mild... helping us acclimatize for what lay ahead! Friday night we enjoyed dinner at the caravan park where Darrell and Donna were staying with 2 other young families.
Saturday we drove "home". Home for Glen isn't there anymore but his parents have settled in nicely to a beautiful home at Glen Innes. It was sure nice to be there with Dan and Nettis so close to pop in for dinner or coffee etc. Was so fun to see their kids too and get to know everyone!
We climbed Bald Rock with Ross one day and saw Thunderbolts hideout.... Gpa is always good for some great stories!
