Spring Break 2015

We had really wanted to go visit Gma in Colorado but couldn't make any flights work with our last minute planning and time frame... so... we managed to find tickets to Vancouver... and who doesn't love Vancouver?  Beautiful city.... beautiful skyline... the mountains... the rainforest.... the parks.... the food....  ahhh....

We stayed at the Pinnacle Waterfront (thanks to Hotwire) and enjoyed our room.  It featured an awesome lounger that Mia and Natalie took turns sleeping on....  was perfect.   The problem with downtown Vancouver is that the taxi drivers actually follow driving rules.... they don't let a family of 5 into a 4 seater car.... so ya.... when the van cab that we booked to drive us to the airport at 5am today cancelled.... we hiker er 5 blocks in the dark... stepping over the homeless (ok, so I'm the only who saw them!!  sounds good though!) and to 2 stations before we found one with open doors, we made it to the airport on time.

The kids are fantabulous travelers.   Perfect on the plane and they like to keep busy which is ok.   Mia was pretty keen on watching cooking shows with me... WIN!   Here are a few million pics of our trip.  I'll break it into a few posts for you.

 Sat the kids down.... told them about the need to go get their shoes on so we could go to Vancouver!  They were super excited... Mia more cautious... she was sure it was an April Fool's joke!

 Swimming in a WARM pool!   A nice change from most hotel pools we've been in!

 Natalie did super well in the swimming department.  Not afraid to swim on her back or doggy swim the length of pool!

 PERFECT WEATHER!!!
