Almost a month later, I can post Mia's birthday. Not sure where the time goes, but it's rarely spent on this computer! I did try the other night but the computer wasn't letting me log on. So... HAPPY DOUBLE DIGITS TO MIA! She had the usual family type party with other families coming over. She received a magic kit so had fun trying out her magic and making animal balloons for her little guests. Since then, she's had a bizarre kidney infection that we are still trying to figure out. May be from an undetected strep infection... but after antibiotics her bloodwork still isn't perfect so we go again soon and have been referred to the children's nephrologist. That's a 4-6 week wait. Ugh!
Back to birthday... 10 years old.... that's crazy! She went rock climbing with Glen, but her friend Dahlia had the flu so we have yet to do that little addition to her birthday. She keeps asking so we'll do it soon. rock climbing must be in her blood. I believe that birth dad had a rock climbing business and won competitions. Kind of cool! :-) She's a little athlete with her lean body. She's looking forward to being old enough to babysit and stay home alone for a bit. She's also eagerly waiting for Glen to finish the basement so she can move downstairs!!!
This is what the kids do after school in my room.... usually with a friend or 2. Go Noodle it's called. Crazy kids.... keeps them out of my hair! :-)
