of International Woman's Day was a phone call around 11:30... Glen hurt himself during hockey... Dear friend D, took him to the hospital as I waited dutifully with my cell phone awaiting results. Broken bone on one side of foot, and snapped tendon on the other side of foot. This mean surgery... plates, pins, stitching. So he got home way too early this morning... which means I think, that I'm running the household for awhile :-) Poor guy... he's currently back in hospital waiting for an ortho surgeon to decide whether or not it needs casting prior to surgery or not and then a date!

I guess it was International Womans Day here in Australia as well but I missed it. I celebrated it by spending the afternoon and evening with my husband!! I hope the big basketball playing girl gets the courage to study some french and stay on the team. I wonder if the humiliation was in front of the whole class-ouch!! Luv Mum
