All alone...

so this is where Glen and I have a preview of what the years ahead may hold!!  Nights eating dinner together, all alone, in peace and quiet and not really sure what to say to each other!  ha!  :-)   J and K called today and wanted Mia and Wyatt to come for a sleep over.  Since we meet with them Sunday morning, they'll bring em along tomorrow!   So Glen dropped them off, picked up some Chinese food on the way home, and we ate... eventually got around to talking!  :-)    Natalie... well, she's konked out in her crib for the night.   What to do??  I suppose now it's bedtime but it's a weird, lonely sort of feeling, even though most days I would probably pay big bucks for this experience! :-)
We've had a lot of house viewings but no bites yet.  No showings today.
Cookies to bake for this week so the dough is ready and must bake up a storm soon.   I think a hot and steaming bath will call my name instead.
The kids have also starting swimming lessons this past week at the new Terwillegar Rec Centre.  So that's been fun for them.
I hope you're all keeping warm and nimble!
Here are some pics of the kids all ready to go! And their snuggly teddies too! Also a few pics of the new house through the dirty windows since it's locked up tight now!

DISCLAIMER - These pictures are off of my cell phone... pitiful quality!  The real camera seems to be hiding right now while the house is for sale and it's easier to use the phone!  Pitiful excuse too, I know!
 house all sided!
 backsplash and counter tops in
Still missing a bank of cupboards and backsplash next to fridge

Fire place stone work and mantle done

Wyatt says, "Take a picture of my ARRRR, mom!"  This is his pirate face!

Isn't she a happy baby?! Funny that we have a blond curly haired child!
Dressing puppy up for the cold weather!
 Ready for their sleepover!

Love the photos- enjoy your special times alone. Every married couple needs to do this regularily- remember you are the most important person to each other. An old friend told us once that a wife needs to make her husband fell 10 feet tall often!! I like that! It was Eileen Matz- her and Wilson were married for over 50 years, never had any children but loved everyone else's as their own- ours were amongst them. Luv M&D
