No man like my man...

No day like my day!! I'm missing a few pics so starting on Tuesday morning I received a daily 'riddle' from my dear hubby!

Tuesdays read:
FRIDAY: Relax - be soothed - be inspired

Wednesdays read:
FRIDAY: Be creative

Thursdays read:
FRIDAY: Indulge yourself

The curiosity was rising, and in my selfish self forgot that it was even Valentines Day coming up!

So Glen took Friday off work... I know, I was shocked and stunned too! I wake up Friday morning with the kids bringing me chocolate covered strawberries in bed, telling me it's breakfast time. So down I trot to discover a dozen red roses, more strawberries, and blueberry pancakes grilling away! And... another note! (see pictures!)

Since time was at hand, I ate and ran to the gym and to Starbucks for my Venti Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte. (the skinny was to make up for the fact that it was a venti!!!) I get home wondering what my next surprise will be.
A steaming hot bath awaits... the lights turned off, candles lit, and rose petals sprinkled across the floor and in the tub... along with a bath bomb to sizzle and fragrant the air! (I must admit that they've improved these bath bombs... they're not as oily as they once were!)

I get out and head to my 11:15, 1 hour massage. Ahhh... dreaming of what the next surprise will be...

The option to shop and scrapbook or just scrapbook. I chose the later, even if it meant having Natalie... didn't get a lot done but it was quiet and fun to get a few pages done! Glen and the kids went to McD's for lunch and over to Chuck E Cheesies to play games etc. The note told me to be dressed and ready for supper by 4! oh... my snack involved a caramel/chocolate covered apple! yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmy!
Home they came and off we went for an early supper as a family at The Keg... steak! delish! Definitely the time to go! They are predicting 4 hour waits on Sunday! I noticed a few things missing while I was getting ready... diapers, my deoderant etc! So I clued into the last surprise without a note!

Down the road to the Super 8 for the night. Glen took the kids 1 at a time to the pool/waterslide and then we snuggled in and enjoyed the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Spring Olympics! Why call it winter when they are having to postpone skiing events due to rain! :-)
A perfect day, planned by the perfect husband. The best part was that Glen never denies me these things... if I wanted to do any of the above, I could... butbecause he planned it, I didn't have to feel guilty and just enjoyed the day! Bliss!! Hope I haven't made ya'll too jealous now!

You were definitely spoiled. Glad you had a fun day. I'm sure Glen and the kids had fun too - doing it all for you.
