Mia's Solo Day recital. This was during her regular Monday night, group lesson at the Suzuki Charter School. They mixed up all the group lessons then each group gave a little recital to each other. We heard a variety of levels and instruments. Wyatt was quite taken with the cello! Maybe that'll be his instrument, although it means a different teacher and more running around!!! hmm.... :) Sorry the video is sideways... I flipped it and it works on our picasa photo site, but oh well!
We practiced this little piece on the A string... she goes and plays it on the E string!!! I think she realized and moved her bow to the A string, hence the pause, but then just finished it on E. A sound musical decision on her behalf!!!
Looking forward to special company tonight, and special mtgs on Sunday. We got a sneak preview, at gospel mtg Sunday night!!
