Saskatchewan 2013

This isn't the typical Saskatchewan that we normally see... We ventured further north and had a blast.  We started out Thursday before the August long week-end and made it to Saskatoon to check out Steve and Wanda's new abode.  It was great to see them in their new place, although no pictures to prove it! :(   Friday we hit the road to Melfort where we met up with cousin Janaya and Dylan and their 3 kidlets.  We had until Tuesday at Lake Kipabiska... we camped in the backyard... it was perfect!  Lazy beach days and lots of snacking!    Tuesday, we headed up to friends, Cam and Heidi's.  Well, Cam was working away, but we enjoyed seeing Heidi and their 3 kids as well.  The kids all got along great and enjoyed the farm life up in Nipawin!  Thursday, we came back to Saskatoon and spent a night in a fabulous hotel with great waterslides. We were upgraded and enjoyed the free hors oeuvres = free supper!  free drinks, free breakfast etc!  It was the perfect way to end our holiday.  Friday we drove home!  Was nice to meet up with Uncle Wayne and Aunt Marg in North Battleford as they were biking back to Regina from Edmonton.   Now... for picture overload!!!   Let's just say that Dylan was a champ with all the boating and pulling the kids on the tube and knee boards.   Here are the LAKE photos....
