Father's Day 2013

It's that time of year again!  I had a little fun with Glen this year... he admitted to me Saturday night prior to Mother's Day, that he hadn't gotten me anything... no big deal in my books.  However, I do know that Glen's love language has much to do with gifts! :-)   So I had fun bugging him that after he got me nothing, that he basically shot himself in the foot... I was off the hook... no gifts needed for him!   I will admit that it did reduce the pressure! haha :-)  However, I do know that he'd be super disappointed.  So, I framed up his favourite fishing picture that he's been wanting for his office.  I also did up a bottle of Diet Coke with some Mento's for him and kids to go "HAVE A BLAST" together... I also left him little notes around the house that were printed but looked like they came from the kids... notes like, "This day wouldn't mean much if you didn't have us.. You're welcome!"  I think he was pleased... **wink**

Steve and Jen and Mom and Dad also joined us for lunch today.  Dad was saying to mom the other day that the only thing dad's ever get is socks, undies and ties for Father's Day... so we all got him socks, undies and a tie! hahaha... I also gave him the Diet Coke thing also with a few other treasures... maybe he'll join Glen and have some fun with the kids too! :-)

Here's a few pics of our day...  Mia is able to play a few hymns now (in D major!) so it's so nice to be able to play together!  Natalie has to get out her violin and play with us too!  Wyatt had a Father's Day song that he was eager to practice this morning and then performed for the men today! :-)
