1) Auntie Jan's successful esophogus cancer surgery... YAY! I think she's one lucky lady and we're glad she's going to be ok.
2) A nice big snow storm to dump who knows how much snow on us... nice heavy, wet stuff, but thankfully the April sun came out and melted it all away! (mostly!)
3) Today is 21 years since Jen and I professed... a good reminder that it's not the length of our service but the depth of our service that matters to God. But, I am so thankful for my great privilege and remember again that no place is a small place in God's Kingdom but that each place bears such great responsibility.
4) Tomorrow marks 2 years since Gpa T passed away. He is greatly missed and I think of so many little things over the past 2 years where I can picture him just rolling his eyes. Gma has done so well since his passing, and he would be proud of her next stage in life... moving into a condo this summer. There's a beauty in this older aged submission, one might call it. Just fitting in to what is best even if it's not easy.
... and now... Pictures...after all, isn't that what you really came for. :-) Last night the kids THOUGHT that they'd like to have a sleep over on the living room floor... they each have their pillow mattresses and they each have their Pillow Pet... Forts etc were made... Mia and Natalie chickened out. Wyatt did fall asleep here, but I thought he wouldn't like waking up alone downstairs. So I carried him up to bed later.
They are anxiously awaiting the Easter Bunny's arrival who Mia tells me
is most definitely NOT real! I'm glad the kids know that, but who
doesn't like a lil chocolate this time of year... in fact... any day
works for me. I have a slight, grossly over addicting problem to the
stuff. In fact, I even have my own secret stash... I think I need
serious help! Hahahaha. Here in these pics below, Natalie was having the very detailed conversation, laughing and talking with her hands! It was adorable. Too bad we can't understand her!
