Tis time for a new lil post and there's nothing to report. Glen is working a lot of evenings... well... I suppose that is what you call it. Wining and dining clients and trying to convert some to his new office. So... not much gets accomplished around here, but that's ok too.
This picture, taken today, while the principal observed my stellar lesson on there, their, and they're, epitomizes my day... Mrs. Campbell in all her enthusiasm... great student engaging lessons.... and the look of complete "HUH?" on my students' faces. Great. Lovely. Ok... so this picture was actually taken with my weakest students who had the easiest "they're" to figure out. They did it! whew! Parents give us their best.
As I look into my students' faces... I realize that some of those kids are pretty lucky... some of those kids have nothing, some have everything. Some parent's best doesn't even match up to some of the worst!
My lil K... he lives with dad who lives with girlfriend (who has 5 or 6 kids). K's mom doesn't want to see him and the girlfriend really favours the brother who is in my class too. He craves a mother soooo bad.
Lil D... he does anything for attention... made a big point today of wanting me to come to his next hockey game that a few of my boys play on. However... 8am Sunday morning isn't going to work for me! I'll have to make the next one!
Oh... they're all so precious. Love em all! So just like my own... they drive me crazy, but at the end of the day, they're pretty darling, and I bet they look pretty sweet sound asleep. :-) I mean... did I tell you about the bow wrapped Coffee Crisps and Smarties Lil A gave me??? Every day this week, one by one, they brought me my favourite chocolates!
Speaking of which... it's time to say hello to the treadmill.

It's great when those little ones have nothing at home can come to school and have a teacher who loves them and that they love back!! Keep up the good work teacher! Love the pics. Loves Mom
Jess there should be more teachers that are so compassionate like you!
