We're driving to school and Wyatt is telling me that he cries when we're not there with him in the afternoon.
Mia tells him it'll be ok because she'll be with him today, since it was a PD day.
So Wyatt reaffirms that he just cries if Mia and Mom aren't there.

Then we were listening to the news and they were talking about the voting for the new premier of AB since Ed is stepping down. Glen's work is supporting one of the guys so they paid for him to vote. I mentioned that daddy would be voting. Mia goes, "But dad will vote for God, right?"
Thought it was cute that she knows who is in charge of this world! :-)

Getting paid to vote sounds abit mercenery!!! It would be illegal in Australia. But then it is compulsory to vote here as well. Mia sure sound like the big sister- comforting her little brother- good for her!! Luv Grampa and Gramma
No, he didn't get paid to vote! For this election amongst the PC's, you have to be a member of the PC party to vote, so the company paid the $5 membership fee! Our premier is stepping down, so this is just to fill his shoes before a normal election takes place.
