Ahhhh.... Spring is in the air. How can you go wrong with +16 today!! A typical summer day here in Edmonton! The kids are loving the weather and could spend 24hours a day outside... riding bikes, swinging, playing street hockey... you name it! Not to mention that they always play really well together outside, so it sure makes life easy. This afternoon, we enjoyed a stroll around the lake and neighbourhood... Mia on her bike, Wyatt pushing a single stroller... Enjoy each nice day, because as Glen says, he waits all summer for summer to arrive, and then it's snowing!

Friday night we celebrated Hayley and Abby's bdays! Great cakes made by Jen, and good swimming with the Holts and Campbells.

Spring has brought some resolutions... one is to quit looking like I'm pregnant, since I'm certainly not, even though I'm sure most people we meet with, are just waiting for me to spill the news!! HA! Sorry... So Char convinced me to join Curves and it has been great. I've only been going for 3 weeks or so now, but I'm really liking it. Trying to be careful what I place into my mouth but... not diligent enough to give up my mocha or latte each morning on the way to work!!! In 3 more workouts, they'll do my measurements, so I'm hoping for some encouraging news... hmm..

We are busy working on the house, trying to really complete the main floor to our satisfaction. New flooring, new baseboards and trim around doors and windows. 99% complete. Next step for me is new countertops... they've been picked out for a few years now! New light fixtures because they are simply hideous, and do something with the fireplace... Without a TV, it really is just wasted space... especially since it's on the angle. Anyways... sometime between now and August we also need a bathroom in the basement... Always SOMETHING to do!!! Probably easier to just build a new one!! Oh well.... Oh... and we want to build a sunroom out the back too!! $$$$$$$ not sure where it's going to come from!

I suppose that's our news as of late. Mia had another violin recital and did really well. She's going to drive every teacher crazy.. don't do the work but ace the test!!! :) Wyatt is potty training himself... He's doing well!! ha! He crawled out of his crib tonight yelling, I HAVE TO GO POTTY! Didn't produce... a new excuse to get out of bed! Am waiting for summer to go full force with him though... by then it should be quick and easy! He is 2.5 afterall! No diapers??? That's quite a few more coffees a month!
