Cross country team

So proud of Mia and Wyatt.  They have been running every lunch hour at school and have competed in a few meets this fall. I'm really impressed with their results.  After the first week of practice Mia had fallen and wanted to quit.   I encouraged her to persevere and she did.  For that alone I am proud.   It's not the place you come in -  it's having fun, being healthy and improving and even just sticking with it that really matters.  I'm realizing this more and more as the public school system fails and as parents we must not put our children on the alter of parental pride.  Humility.... Meekness.... Unknown.
