Heritage Days

Over stimulation of all senses down at Hawrelak Park today!  We drove to the nearest LRT, hopped on the train... caught the connector bus and made into the park.  It's a gorgeous park in our city and the perfect place to hold such a huge event.   Many cultures were represented and it was so hard to know what to eat and watch. Mia was enthralled with the Thai dancers.... we love their squishy noses :-)   It was a HOT day... which made for kids that tired quickly and grumpiness set in quickly but overall, they were champs.   The lefse wasn't near as good as Grandma's of course.... in fact, it didn't compare.  The perogies were pretty good.   It would be a fun date spot... with no kids! :-)   But since we live in a festival city, it was fun to actually attend one this summer! Oh and just in case you're wondering... I was in all of these places too!  Mom behind the camera... as usual!
