PHOTO A DAY

So much for keeping up with this task!!  But... here's the update!!!  :-)

Day 11... IN THE DISTANCE... a mountain.   There are mountain experiences in the distance whether near or far for all of us.  I want to be willing for the challenge and take courage to climb, to fight and get to the top where the view is the greatest and the cares of life will seem as dust.

 DAY 12... NEW ... The terranium.  I picked it up at Costco this week. I love the plant, I love the bowl and I love that it's something new and alive in my house.  Fresh and green; one of my favourite colours.

 

DAY 13... A FRIEND...  Everyone needs a friend.... or 2!   Here are my 2 I chose for this post.   School friend, Cayl and life friend, Char.   Love them both in very different ways and they've both given me perspective and kept me going more than they know.  

DAY 14...  I WISH FOR.... I wish for this boy to keep telling me about his day every day for the rest of his life.  At almost 7 years old, he is loving school and loves to tell me about his day.   I have this feeling that it might not always continue and maybe he won't want to share his day with me.  So I wish and I hope that he will always want to share...

 

DAY 15...  MY SHOES.... shoes are not a big deal to me... however, I do love my CAMPER shoes... my feet don't stink in them and I can walk forever because they are so comfy.  Huge deal.  The perfect teacher shoe.  Thanks, Gma!  :-)

 

DAY 16... ROUTINE... Practicing violins... should be more routine then it really is but we will pretend, ok?!

DAY 17... DELICIOUS.... PUMPKIN PIE... a favourite of mine except it's full of wheat so it's no longer in my diet. I did sneak a piece today but man.... Love pumpkin!!!!   I love how Gma T always made pumpkin pie because Gpa loved it but she hated it.  That's love, eh!!!

 

DAY 18...  EVERY DAY I...  drink a cup or 2 or 3 of coffee!!!   Sometimes it's not until I get to work, but it's definitely the jolt I need to get me going, to keep me going and to relax me at night.   

 

 DAY 19...  LIGHT.... Love the different light in these pictures.  Oh for these nice summer lake days again..

 

  

 DAY 20.... SOFT .... Natalie loves playing with this big soft bear.... she can be so motherly when she's not in the middle of her terrible no good very bad 3's moment... which is almost every second of every day!

 

DAY 21... WRITTEN ... Glen wrote this note before he left us for a week-end of fishing with his bro. So sweet.

 

 DAY 22... OUT MY WINDOW.... early evening... the Dahlia's are still blooming but the frost oh so lingers.  Soon the flowers will be gone.
