But... onto the good stuff... BIRTHDAYS! Mia says, "It sure is hard when it's not your birthday!" It is... seeing the new STUFF, and wanting to play with it all too. But, life's little lessons to learn... and to learn to be happy for others when it's not your turn! Natalie found this painful as well... she was convinced everything was HERS and that it was HER birthday! Thankfully, the girls birthdays are just around the corner!!
Sunday was the real deal. We had a nice meeting and then grandpa and grandma took us out for lunch. Wyatt chose Red Robin so they sang to the boys and embarrassed us all. What a treat to celebrate with Gpa and Gma Tingley!!! WOW! We're so glad that they are here. Monday, being Thanksgiving, I had the family and friends in for turkey dinner. It was delish! :-)
My scrag-a-muffin - playing her imaginary piano!
The birthday fairy came over night WITH the tooth fairy, and put up balloons! Wyatt lost his tooth Saturday night and didn't even know it! He must have swallowed it!
Dad got his requested Aussie hockey team jersey!
Mia, wishing she had something new to play with!!
Wyatt spends HOURS with his Lego!
This amazing cake was provided by Anita for Auntie Jan... Auntie picked the flavours etc. It was a white cake layered with caramel and iced with REAL maple buttercream... it was sooo rich, but soooooo good!
Yes, it looks like a 2 year old decorated this... :-) Wyatt wanted a rocket ship! So this is what he got on limited time!
Too much birthday!!!
