WOW!

I seriously had no idea it would really actually take off like it has! Soon the Campbells will be known for their cookies not their soup! HA! First of all I have to thank Lisa for her post on her blog... what a great review! It's here at http://scrapsofthisandthat.blogspot.com/2010/06/d-lish.html

So this week I had 3 orders to finish... 4 dozen for Thursday, and an order of 2 dozen and an order of 2 cookies for today. The 2 cookies turned out really cute... they were a lil gift for the bridesmaids before they went dress shopping... I'll post a pic here...

I also have an order for 5 dozen coming up, and a few orders for 1 dozen coming up soon too! whew!

My biggest problem this week was that with the orders due this week, Glen is out of province... all the way out in New Brunswick for a conference with work. So... I wasn't sure how I'd manage to bake and decorate with no one to entertain the kids in the evening, put them to bed, keep them away from the table etc!!!

But... I have the BESTEST sister around, who took the kids on Wednesday, and the BESTEST friend, Char, who took the kids Thurs. THANK YOU!

Now, hopefully Glen will be around for the next batches that are due out in the next few weeks.

In other news... oh... nothing is new!

Natalie is sitting up on her own and loves to stand up strong on her legs... this is much to Mia's delight... so poor Natalie... Mia thinks that she can 'walk' Nat around etc! Usually ends up in Natalie screaming... she'll be tough and stretched out anyways!

Wyatt... I just have to say his name and you know what that means! Annoys his sisters, causes trouble, but at the end of it all, he's the sweetest, most sensitive soul... you have to repeat EVERYTHING that he says, "Right, mom?" "Right, Wyatt." "Right?" "RIGHT" and on it goes and goes!

We have a bit of a busy summer planned and that is WoNdErFuL! Mia is participating in the Alberta Suzuki String Summer Institute held in Edmonton this year for 1 week. So that'll get lots of violin practice in that week! The following week we're headed to Aylesbury... hoping to have BC visitors (hint!) and the last 2 weeks of August it's off to Florida!!! yea! Seems to be our annual trip.. we save all year, and almost have enough for our tickets down there! Why go in August?? Well... the life of a teacher... you only travel in the summer so alas... OOPS... I forgot... (my ADD), Auntie D and Michael are bringing Gma K up too! Can't wait! Never met this newer uncle of mine... :)

I'm excited that I'll have a new classroom when I return to work at Christmas time. How do you think I'll do cookies and work full-time and be a mom and a wife??!! Oh well... I find that I work better under pressure and much more gets accomplished when I'm super busy. I think it's that Tingley ADD working... can't sit still or concentrate on one thing for too long... gotta have lots of the go to switch my brain over to something else for a wee while before going back! :-)
